Unable to watch her people perish, Naer’s Black Queen made the ultimate sacrifice. She offered her own body to forge the Starfall Gate and tear open the fabric of time, casting some of her people into the past and future in search of the truth behind their curse—and a cure. With Neir’s fallen capital at its doorstep, Allua, as the rightful heir of conquest, laid claim to the lands of the Starfall Gate, yet the eyes of many crowns lingered upon it, wary and covetous. From its shadow rose Stawatch keep, forged by a pact of nations and creeds—the Starfall Gate Concord.
